Maybe it was her upbringing in beautiful surroundings in France or the many hours spent in her grandmother and great grandmother's fabric shops, but ultimately family and environmental influences led Fiona Squires to develop a passion for interior design. 

Following her head rather than her heart, Fiona initially qualified as a lawyer, gaining several years’ business experience in the City, in the process developing a strong, disciplined approach to problem-solving.

In 2010, motivated by her need for more personal career fulfilment, and with young children, Fiona decided to leave the Law and devote herself full time to her real passion as an interior designer.  Initially focusing on soft furnishings, she soon found her services in demand, with clients wanting her to provide a complete design and project management service.

Now, six years later, and with a growing client referral portfolio, Fiona has opened a London studio devoted to helping her clients to create highly personal and beautiful living environments. Her approach is very much collaborative, first seeking to understand each client's style, taste and needs, then following a process to introduce ideas, and ultimately bringing their vision to life. 

Often playful yet sophisticated and elegant, Fiona’s designs usually combine neutral palettes with brave and zingy colours and a mix of pattern and texture in materials, completing the vision with vintage and contemporary furniture and lighting to create strikingly beautiful results. Fiona’s contacts with a broad range of suppliers and the best craftsman enable her to source the finest finishes to complete each canvas. Above all, her no compromise approach always focuses on achieving her client's ideal. 

Moreover, and maybe as important as the design elements, and a possible reason behind her business growing by referral, is Fiona’s management skill and hands-on and disciplined approach to the project delivery process. From the initial consultation right through to their first day in their new environment, Fiona’s aim is always to create for each client an enjoyable and rewarding experience, resulting in a sophisticated, striking and beautiful interior that is both elegant and comfortable to live in.
